Ruby the Bulldog, coming to stay for some training

I am so happy to have Ruby the Bulldog (pictures below) come to stay with me for a few weeks for training. I look forward to sharing with you all our adventures and progress of her training. My first day of having her, I have already learnt how to massage back in her Cherry Eye thanks to this useful YouTube Video How to fix a cherry eye in a Bulldog. People commonly say that #Bulldogs are hard to train, but over the past few months I have had the pleasure of working with a few that changed my perception of the breed.

Are Bulldogs hard to train?

Yes it is true, Bulldogs without the right guidance can indeed be stubborn dogs, but with a bit of understanding, patience and commitment I have found them one of the best breeds of dogs to train. They have so much love to give and really do enjoy pleasing their people.
Many people are unnecessarily tough and or hard on their Bulldogs, as they are under the belief this is needed to communicate with them, but nothing could be further from the truth. If you give them the time and patience they deserve, they will shine through and show their true colors.
